Accessibility statement
Last updated: August 6, 2026
Brain Wellness Usa is read in significant part by older adults, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation and browser zoom. We consider accessibility a functional requirement of this site rather than an optional extra.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we have implemented
- A base font size larger than the common default, with body text set for extended reading
- Text that reflows and remains readable at 200% browser zoom
- Colour contrast ratios checked against WCAG AA thresholds for body and interface text
- Semantic HTML structure with a single logical heading hierarchy on each page
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Navigation operable by keyboard alone
- Descriptive link text rather than “click here”
- Reduced motion respected for visitors whose systems request it
- A responsive layout that works down to small mobile screens
- No content that relies on colour alone to convey meaning
Known limitations
Third-party content, including advertising served by external networks, is not under our direct control and may not meet the same standards. We raise accessibility issues with partners where we identify them.
